CourtTV does a terrific job presenting the legal system to the mass-market. The channel is free on most cable providers, and the the feeds stream online line. Back in the day, the OJ Simpson trial was on CourtTV while I was in law school. I was able to see Legal Eagles doing great work in real time. I am very fortunate to be able to appear on CourtTV as a legal expert, just like I watched so many great attorneys over the years.

This week, items in the legal news included the legal fight to #FreeBritney, and the plight of pop star Britney Spears under conservatorship. We did not get to Robert Durst, the famous Jinx from the HBO documentary, but he was also in the news.

The major trial that day was Floridan Man charged with “The Birthday Murder.” Bo Pete Jeffrey who beat 48-year-old Lisa Jeffrey to death on her birthday, November 5, 2018. He then wrapped her body in plastic and hid it under a bed in their RV. The jury found him guilty of First Degree Murder.

I'd like to thank anchor Ted Rowlands for hosting a great show. Providing analysis of live trials is a complex team effort, and Ted and the CourtTV team make it a joy to share my legal wisdom.
